73rd Derby (Allestree) Scout Group - Derby

Our Group consists of 2 Beaver Colonies (for 6 to 8 year olds), 2 Cub Packs (for 8 to 10 1/2 year olds) and a Scout Troop (for 10 1/2 to 14 year olds). There is also an Explorer Unit (for 14 to 17 year olds) hosted by the Group. We also have a Network unit (for 18 to 26 year olds) run by Derby North District. The total membership of the Group is around 180. As we are a popular group, we currently only have vacancies for new members who join our youngest Beaver sections between the ages of 6 and 8 – and we operate a waiting list for this age group. The hope is that once a member they will continue with us until they reach their 17th birthday, (and perhaps even thereafter, in an adult leadership role). | |||||||||||||||||||||
