Lakeland Maze Farm Park is open every week-end from Easter and also every day during the school holidays until October. Raines Hall Farm is a working farm, so as well as cattle, sheep and various breeds of pig, there are ferrets, llamas, alpacas, with their lovely soft coats, pygmy and angora goats, and horses. Oh, and let’s not forget Winston the donkey! Animal feed is available from the reception area and the ‘briefing tower’ so that you can feed the animals. Always remember to wash your hands if you have been handling the animals. Hands should be washed with soap and warm water before eating. Activities: Fun on the farm for all the family! Trampolines - our outdoor trampolines with protective netting provide great exercise. Outdoor Karting - our outdoor karting track has a tarmac surface with a starting grid! Giant Draughts - grab yourself an opponent and look no further! Tractor and Trailer Rides - a huge favourite. Whatever the weather you can still enjoy our superb indoor activities Soft Play Climbing Wall and Soft Play Area - with toys for toddlers to 12 year olds! Indoor Karting - excellent fun with these pedal-powered karts Straw Bale Maze - our third, smaller, indoor maze Coin-operated Mini Tractors Pets Barn - up close with some of our small animals The Maize Every year we create a different design to the maze and it always provides a challenge to be completed - we do provide an 'Emergency Map' if you get lost! The Mini Maze During the Maize Maze season we open a Mini Maize Maze especially for our younger (and older) visitors. It is much smaller and so does not take too long to complete. Children must of course be accompanied by an adult in the Mini Maze. Please note that there is a discount available when you book online The maize Maze will be grown and re-open from July 2016. Until then Lakeland Maze Farm Park is open from Saturday 28th March for the easter holidays, all school holidays until September. We are also open weekends between the easter holidays and July 18th.
