The Venture Centre - Maugold

Family groups can access The Venture Centre during weekend and school holiday periods and it's an ideal venue for active families to try a range of outdoor activities together.

Sessions range from a few hours, to a day or for a full residential visit. They will happily customise a selection of activities to fit in with your requirements and the age range of your family. Age and height restrictions apply to some activities out of safety necessity so be sure to plan ahead.

With over 30 years of experience delivering high quality adventure holidays for schools our centre is an ideal venue for a wide range of outdoor activities. We offer outdoor activity holidays and courses to clients including school groups, youth groups, corporate groups, and we also welcome individuals during the weekend and holiday periods.

The converted farm buildings of Lewaigue Farm provide accommodation  in 2 separate blocks, North and South Camp, each capable of accommodating up to  70 persons giving a maximum capacity of 140 persons.

We aim to keep a level of reality in all our activities.  All our sessions are run at an appropriate level based on the age and experience of participants.  We have clear operating procedures which are based on recommendations by governing body organisations and our technical advisors.  We are keen to work with you to make your visit to us a valuable and memorable experience.
