Woodland Adventurers® is a leading provider of outdoor education and outdoor activities in the south-west of England. Enabling children of all ages and adults to re-discover nature and the outdoors through exciting activities that enable a sense of freedom and achievement whilst having the most amazing fun. At the heart of what we do is a core belief in making a difference, through a positive contribution to peoples' lives. We strive to connect (and often re-connect) children and grown-ups with the outdoors for their overall health, well-being and happiness through fun activities and positivity. This usually means getting very muddy and getting out in all weathers (including freezing cold and heavy rain) with a very happy smile! Our activities are often highly physical such as team games, running and hiking as well as calmer ones such as feeding farm animals, arts and crafts. Woodland Adventurers® provides outdoor activities and outdoor learning that are exciting and fun for both children and grown-ups. Often learning takes place without the learner even realising - as they are simply having fun! We aim to create an environment and programmes that nurture and build self-confidence, self-esteem and self-belief as well as social skills and activity-based skills.
