Playbarn is an indoor adventure play area, with a height recommendation of under 1.4 metres. It has a tractor track, rope bridge and barns on stilts connected with raised walkways. Also an amazing bouncing structure, which is one of the biggest in the country and has a bouncy area, slide and items to jump over and through. There is also a soft play area for children under 3 years of age. You will discover a floor to ceiling slide, tractor track, climbing wall, rope bridge and barns on stilts connected with raised walkways. A soft play area is provided for the younger children. The Windmill Playbarn has a bouncy castle, which has been especially designed and made for ourselves. It is 20 metres x 6 metres in size and is thoroughly enjoyed by the children. The Playbarn closes half an hour before the site and is closed for maintenance during weekdays in January until the February half term. In the farmyard hand washing facilities are available for both children and adults and we do encourage everyone to wash their hands thoroughly after visiting the farm yard. Children are free to feed and pet the animals in the farmyard. Animal food is available from the Farm Shop. Visit our farm animals including Dexter cows, pigs and ponies. Chickens and ducks run freely in the traditional farmyard environment which children love. Amerton Railway is a great day out for all of the family, based at Amerton Farm near Stafford in Staffordshire, come for a steam train ride through the beautiful countryside. Diesel trains run on Saturdays, steam trains on Sundays, bank holidays and midweek during half terms and summer holidays. Windmill Farm has an indoor and outdoor adventure play area.
The Playbarn is great value for money, as visitors can pay to go in at 9.30am and stay all day!! Even the selection of food on the children and adult menus are of a very good standard and at a cost effective price (see menus below). In good weather there is an outside area where you will find a LARGE bouncy pillow, sandpit, football field and seating with beautiful views of the countryside!!!
