Andover Museum can be found in a former town house c1750, visited by Jane Austen and has permanent exhibitions the stem from prehistoric times to the present day. Enjoy an exciting programme of temporary exhibitions, including art, craft, photography, history and relax in the coffee shop. During term-time the Natural History Gallery has tables and chairs especially for younger visitors where they can do a jigsaw, read a book or have a go at one of the regularly changing activities. There is also a dressing-up corner with a selection of fun and historic themed costumes. They also run a regular programme of family friendly craft days with drop-in make and take activities and bookable workshops. These run every school holiday and are aimed families joining in and having fun together. There is also a selection of trails available for different ages and abilities. Admission: Free entry!
