Ash End House Farm is a family owned farm which has been operating as a Childrens Farm for over 25 years. Our aim is to provide an enjoyable and educational hands on experience for children of all ages. We are open to the general public and specialize in guided tours for school parties and play groups. We are a small, family owned childrens farm, operating for over 30 years! with lots of friendly farm animals, mostly undercover so weather does not cause US any problems. Ideal for all visitors who love animals and wish to have close contact with them. Plenty of handwashing facilities, ample free parking and activities throughout the day. Open to the general public every day only closing 3.30 pm Christmas Eve until 2nd January. Farm Opening times are: 10am to 5pm in the Spring, Summer and Autumn, 10am to 4pm in Winter. Last admission is 1 hour before closing. The farm admission is charged from walking age upwards (12 months +) for children that wish to join in activities such as: * Bucket of animal feed * Choose a free range egg to take home * A sit on a pony or shire horse! * Bumpy Tractor & Trailer Ride! * Newly hatched chickens in baskets on laps * Bottle Feeding (spring/summer/autumn) * Birds of Prey Demonstration - 3 times daily * Extra activites such as teddy bears picnic, pancake days, shire horse days etc during school holidays.
