Avon Valley Adventure & Wildlife Park - Bristol
The park fuses fun and education to provide an appreciation of the natural world. The grounds span 50 acres of beautiful countryside and its residents include a wide range of farm animals and rare exotic species.

Many of the animals can be touched under supervision. We have regular displays of falconry (on weekends and during school holidays at 2pm), while the popular, picturesque 1½ - mile river walk (complete with junior assault course) takes walkers on a leisurely guide of the area’s local plants and wildlife.

We offer so much more than just our indoor Play Barn, so bring your outdoor clothes and wellington boots, enjoy our outdoor play areas and get up and close to the animals around the park too! During busier times we may need to run a coloured wristband system for the Play Barn, ensuring that each guest receives at least one hour of indoor play between 11am & 3pm! All 'yearly pass holders' may have full access at all times, please ensure you collect your wrist bands from the admission's desk on entry.

The Park is open every day from April to the end of October. In winter (November to March) the large indoor play barn is open on weekends and school holidays, and, with fast slides, climbing and bouncy areas, it’s a favourite with our junior guests come rain or shine.

Where the combination of nature, attractions and stunning scenery ensures that the hours of fun are endless at one of the West's most popular family destinations.

And families can adventure together too: climb aboard the punctual 'Strawberry Line' - the longest five-inch miniature gauge railway in the West Country - stroll along an interesting walk around the winding river (with challenging obstacles for the children), have fun in a boat and many exciting activities in the extensive grounds.
Families will enjoy a mix of adventure fun and animal interaction all set in the lovely river based country side. Where endless adventures makes a great day out.
There is a huge amount of activities for the children including 5 big slides, a big outdoor adventure play area and undercover play area for wet days also a 1 ¼ mile junior assault course.

The highlights of the day will be the lovely riverside walk with lots of friendly and interesting animals and an assault course for the children.

Something for every age, train and tractor rides, fishing, pets corner, electric quad bikes and dizzy duck rides, falconry, mini-golf, boating and pedal go-karts.
2 cafes and picnicing area, outside and undercover eating and BBQ area.
