Bicclescombe Park

The traditional adventure playground features sturdy outdoor play equipment suited in range to children between 2 and 12 years old.

There are plenty of gentle nature strolls and space to run about in for exercise, while the Victorian floral bedding area and working corn mill provide potentially educational distractions.

There are 7 tennis courts available through the local club, with a significant annual tournament in July that draws a lot of visitors to the area.

They have recently installed a new landscaped sensory garden that amongst other things features sound and light reflections, which are particularly popular with children and significant for those with sensory impairments.

A local model boat club often use the pond and lake, so kids can frequently observe all manner of mini vessels patrolling the waters. Family oriented educational activities and events are regularly held here too, especially during the school holidays, so they’re worth watching out for to help round off the day.
