Brickfields Country Park is reclaimed from the remains of a Victorian brickworks and clay diggings, and is less than eight acres in size, making it one of the smallest in the country, but well worth a visit. It is a peaceful place in which to explore with a pond great for pond dipping and is a well loved country park. The Friends of Brickfield Country Park organise a summer family day every year when the place is full of things to do. Admission: Free! Opening Times: Year round daylight access.
