Buccaneer Bay

Buccaneer Bay, now known as Pirates' Quest housed in the historic old Newquay Theatre provides a unique theatrical experience for families with live pirates!

Explore the 8 different sections of the bay including Smugglers Cove, the Land of Legend and even go on board and below deck on the Buccaneer itself.

If you dare, there is also the Sunken Village of the Damned to venture in to.

This is Cornwall’s first scare attraction, where you will see the souls of smugglers and pirates. For those kids (or parents) who don’t fancy a scare, there is a safe path you can take instead.

You will encounter several pirate guides on your journey telling you about different aspects of pirate life and also some of the history and legends of the area. Find out about the dangers of sailing the Cornish coast, what rules need to be obeyed...and what happens if you break them!
