Castle Park House and Gardens in Frodsham is an attractive historic park with 9 hectares of Green Flag awarded grounds offering a mixture of formal gardens, wide open lawns, intriguing wooded areas and recreational leisure facilities, like a bowling green and tennis courts. Loads of space for fun family activities, picnicking or just lazing about with some munchkin books in the sunshine. Alright we were just joking about the lazing about, you know that's not going to happen again until there at least 12, but there are 2 big sandy areas to enjoy until then with unusual climbing frames and a vast grassy area between the play area and the car park. Don't forget your buckets and spades or you're going to get nagged in wee squeaky voices. Admission: Free! Opening Times: Gardens open all year. Castle Park reception open 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). The Arts Centre is open Monday through Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 2pm to 4pm. |
