Step into Celtic times for a great day out at Celtic Harmony Camp, an
Iron Age village near Hertford. You can try your hand at Longbow
Archery, Celtic cookery in the Chieftain Roundhouse, then leaving your
food to bake over the hearth, explore the rest of the camp on a woodland
trail or listen to a Story around the fire. Make sure you arrive for
the animal feeding at 11am. Hog roast and traditional refreshments

Facilities include: -Celtic Roundhouses, the floors of the roundhouses have been lime-washed (a natural material that leaves a white hard surface finish like cement) to facilitate access. The round houses have been painted white inside to ensure maximum visibility, for example for lip reading. -Activities include Celtic crafts such as grinding grain on quern stones, traditional games, Archery and Treasure Hunts around the woods. -Animal Pen with goats and geese. -Disabled Toilet Facility with a ramp. -Baby Change Facility. -Woodland Shelters for Activities in the woods. -Woodland Hideaways for BBQ, which must be hired in advance. -Archery Field for have a go target Archery. -Play areas with the willow tunnel, musical area and chariot all have hard core/ ramp access.
