A short walk from the very popular Tea Room (producing a variety of food) takes you to the stables and paddocks, where you will see the farm animals. Young and old alike are entertained by African pygmy goats climbing up and down the circular steps of the goat tower, Shetland ponies, varieties of sheep, pigs and the famous Longhorn Cattle, inquisitive llamas and their more recent addition a group of alpacas. The Nature Trail is a lovely walk for visitors with the aim of providing a free environmental facility for schools and people with special needs. The Deer Park Mere has an extensive bird and waterfowl population. Admission: Adults £6 Children: £3 Cash Only! Opening Times: Cholmondeley Castle Gardens opens to the public from Sunday 6th April to 28th September 2014, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays and also Fridays during August. Opening times 11am to 5pm with last entry at 4.30pm. There are notable exceptions so check ahead.
