Set within Snowdonia National Park, Coed y Brenin Forest Park
is one of Forestry Commission Wales’ premier recreation sites. If you
fancy trying some exciting outdoor activities, Coed y Brenin Forest Park
has everything from challenging orienteering routes & geocaching to
world-class mountain biking trails. Alternatively if you need to unwind
you can take one of the waymarked walks. Try either a gentle, all
ability trail down to the river with the chance of seeing an elusive
otter or go over the hill to the next valley to see the beautiful
waterfalls and abandoned gold mine. Stop and have your lunch at one of
the numerous picnic sites and enjoy the tranquillity of the River Eden
or dramatic views of Cadair Idris.
