The award-winning visitor centre at Dapdune Wharf in Guildford tells the story of the navigations and the people who lived and worked on this 360 year old waterway. Visitors can see where the huge Wey barges were built and climb aboard 'Reliance', one of three surviving barges, so there’s plenty of educational scope here! There is also a great little children's trail and quiz to help kids feel welcome and keep younger ones focused and amused. You can pick this up free at the visitor reception point. Plus the whole place is seasonally glittered with bright damsels and dragonflies! Plus remember that Dapdune Wharf is only a small part of the River Wey and Godalming Navigations, so there are plenty of ways to extend your day trip right down stream! Admission: Boat trip:Adult: £3.75 Child: £2.20 Family: £11 Opening Times: General daily opening 11am to 5pm, but it all varies seasonally, so use the link to the timetables and check ahead according to season!
