Dorchester Borough Gardens

At the Dorchester Borough Gardens you'll not only find some lovely wide open spaces but also their fully enclosed play area offering a range of facilities for all age groups to go nuts on! The play equipment includes baby and standard swings, rockers, mini spinner, 2 different types of slide, multi play structure and seesaw.

For warmer days there is also a splash pool! The stone paddler is a simple feature but boy what a difference it makes when they're hot and bothered! Be sure to take along towels and changes of clothes, but why not also pack a toy that floats and a toy that sinks, for a bit of watery play?

Other cool features within the gardens include adult sized outdoor fitness equipment set up as a trim trail, this is also ideal for teens a bit too big (or dignified!) to go on the adventure playground, but still want to play!

Plus formal tennis courts (pre booking required, bring your own equipment), an ornate fountain which will captivate the toddlers, traditional bandstand and a charming sundial that school age kids will enjoy working out the time on.
