The Junior Chef kids cookery school is unique in that it is the only cookery school in Ireland just for Kids. We offer cooking classes, cooking birthday parties, school holiday camps, family cookery lesssons and lots more for children of all ages, teenagers and transition year students. Junior Chef Cookery School in Blackrock, Dublin wants to help you child discover the fun and delicious world of cooking in a safe, educational and tasty way. They run after school classes throughout the school term, host birthday parties on request and offer camps during school holidays such as at midterm, easter and summer. Students are encouraged to eat and enjoy the food they have prepared which fills them and their parents with satisfaction for their hard work and also gets them to try new healthy foods that they may not have tried before. A nutrionist is on board to help devise healthy eating plans, recipes and menus for the classes. Age groups Junior Chefs – age 8-12 years. Young Chef – teenage classes 13-16 years. Transition Year Junior Chef Classes Teaching children a skill for life, the basic cooking skills required for them to make meals encourage healthy eating and have lots of fun. Age:- 8 -12 years Duration:- 1.5 hours Timetable:-Wednesday 15.30 – 17.00 Dates:- On Request. Cost:-€150 for 6 classes. Multiples of 6 classes can be booked throughout the year. Young Chefs Teenage Classes The cheapest and healthiest way to eat is to cook it yourself. This course encourages teenagers to enjoy food, learn to cook, manage the kitchen and share this talent with their family and peers and learn a skill for life.
