This section covers theme parks and adventure parks in and near County Durham in the north east of England for fantastic days out with the kids in this fine county. Theme parks are a fun filled day out and there is a lot on offer including rip roaring rides, themed rides and entertainment attractions.

They are great during the summer holidays and school breaks where the kids can unwind and enjoy their time off!

A theme park is an amusement park built around a particular theme including cartoon characters, Victorian era, horror themes and including popular tv series themes. These parks offer a number of facilities on site including cafes, fast food chains and toilets and baby changing cubicles. Adults can sometimes also relax at a bar in between rides.

The UK has some amazing Theme Parks and Adventure Parks with fast roller-coasters, scary rides, wet rides, water fun, white knuckle rides and many smaller rides for the younger ones. Entertainment and shows throughout the day is normally provided to keep everyone in high spirits in Durham.
