Have Fun and Learn: Farmer Giles Farmstead is designed to delight children from 18 months to 9 or 10 years old. I love to see children feeding or cuddling the animals. They learn so much from “doing” rather than just “watching” and I have plenty of hand washing facilities with anti bacterial soap. I also have plenty of Yesterday’s Farming implements and dairy to keep older groups happy as well! Opening Times Farmer Giles Farmstead is open every day from 10am until 6pm (last entry 4pm) from 19th March until 31st October. We are also open every weekend in the winter and also Christmas holidays and Spring Half term. Special events and groups visits can also be arranged outside these times. To discuss your requirements please Contact Us. COACHES WELCOME: I have parking for more than 10 coaches. Farmer Giles is just off the A303 and makes an ideal “pit-stop” for coffee, lunch or tea. Or, why not make us a day-out! Disabled facilities: There are dedicated Disabled parking bays near the entrance, we have disabled toilets near the shop and also near the restaurant and the whole farm and one of the museums are wheel-chair friendly. There is a slight incline for some areas, but no steps! We close in winter to allow our animals time for a holiday and for us to upgrade our facilities each year | |||||||||||||||||||||||
