Farmyard Funworld
The Lincolnsfields Children’s Centre is a registered children’s charity providing opportunities for children, young people and adults with special needs.
We provide catered and self-catering residential accommodation to enable groups, under adult supervision, to spend time away from their urban environment.

We also have facilities which serve the local community. Farmyard Funworld – a learning and play experience centred around our Farmyard animals.

We provide total out-of-school-care packages for local families including after school clubs and full day holiday care during every school holiday.

We also provide sheltered training and work experience programmes for Special Needs Adults and young people. These mainly centre round Animal Care, Horticulture and Environmental projects within our farm.See our Training Web page for details on conditions etc.

 

The Lincolnsfields Children’s centre is located on what was originally the site of BUSHEY HALL – the wartime location of the USAAF 8 th Fighter Command Headquarters – a unique WW2 Heritage site.

We stage regular Tribute Events within the grounds and using the remaining WW2 buildings. (see Special Events),

We also organise Educational Day visits with "hands-on" activities covering all aspects of the Nat.Curr.History Unit 9 at Key Stages 2/3 and centring on "Children at War, the Home Front, and Women in War.
