Welcome to the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways - two unique narrow gauge railways with a fascinating past and an even more exciting future.

This year we have reopened the final section of the long-lost railway link between Caernarfon and Porthmadog.

Passengers can now travel from Caernarfon through to Blaenau Ffestiniog - some 40 miles of narrow-gauge steam!
