Fort Victoria Model Railway is colourful and fun and great for kids who love trains and those that enjoy novelty. The layouts are extensive and pretty impressive. There is a ‘Hunt the…’ quiz available with many tiny items to look for amongst the many trains, stations and landscapes. There is a Circus and Fun fair including moving rides and full of tiny working lights. You can really appreciate the attention to detail. There are two tracks. One based on a European model and the other British. There British track is still under construction, which will give your little train and model fans a great insight into some of the techniques and great effort involved in creating this fascinating little place. The staff are welcoming and very enthusiastic so the kids can get great answers to any questions that they have about the models. A computer controls the train movements so there are always different trains running and there are buttons that the kids can press to animate different objects. There are also steps to allow the little ones to get a better view. Elsewhere inside Fort Victoria there's also a Planetarium with 360 Star Theatre and displays, a Marine Aquarium with local and tropical sea life and an underwater archeology centre!
