The stately homeHatchlands Park contains exemplary tenant Alec Cobbe’s collection of paintings and fine furniture. They also display the infamous Cobbe Collection, Europe’s largest collection of keyboard instruments associated with famous composers including Bach, Chopin and Elgar. The kids aren't permitted to tinkle the ivories but it's a still a pleasant collection for all ages to view. Outside you won’t go short of space to run about in as there are more than 161 hectares (that’s 400 acres!) of largely accessible, multi terrain parkland to explore plus April through May the Bluebell Wood is literally stunning, an excellent spot for photos of the kids. But the big draw will be Home of Wizard Wix's Willow Warren, the all natural adventure area for children! They are invited to construct dens, explore safely pre-constructed tunnels and domes, and watch the natural wildlife nibbling at the feeders.
