Children’s activity centre in Broadstairs We have a play ball pond, slides, climbing frames, soft play, toys, baby area, colouring activities, and a book corner. Try out our Chill Out Room with comfy sofas in a little space away from it all. All our activities are suitable for ages 0-8. We’re based in Broadstairs but we have regular visitors from the rest of Thanet and even further afield. £3 entrance every day Monday – Saturday. Ask about our play and eat deals. As well as the soft play and climbing frames, we run a number of classes and activities throughout the week, including: Baby Sensory For babies ages 0-13 months. 1 hour sessions for parents/carers and baby, created by one of the leading practitioners in baby development, Dr Lin Day. Sessions include singing, signing, dancing, massage, bubbles, light shows, music – lots of fun – all to help baby’s senses develop fully. Sessions are run on Tuesdays and Thursdays. £6 per session. Booking only. Toddler Time For toddlers aged 13 months to 3 years. An extension of our Mothers and Toddlers group, we offer games, singing, arts and crafts designed to help with toddlers’ development. Sessions are run on Mondays and Fridays and cost £4 per session plus entrance to Helter Skelter. Booking only. Baby Coffee Mornings We have coffee mornings every Friday between 10 and 11.30 for parents-to-be and new parents. We usually have breastfeeding support workers, sling library, cloth nappy library people available. A chance to relax, get informed with your baby. Hello at Helter Skelter On Wednesdays, if you’re a parent or a carer and new to the area or if you’re a new parent, come and say “hello” to our staff. You’ll get a friendly welcome and the chance to meet other parents. Supper Club Bring them down after school, and we’ll feed them and clear up for you! £7.00 for entrance and 2 course meal from our supper club menu – fishfingers or pizza or pasta bolognaise with icecream or fairy cake and unlimited squash.
