Irchester Country Park

This former ironstone quarry has a wonderful children's play area as well as a network of long and short trails through 83 hectares of mixed woodland. The park is home to the Quarryman's Rest Cafe, Jungle Parc UK and the Irchester Narrow Gauge Railway museum. Irchester Country Park has an adventure course with zip lines, a play area and a network of trails in a 200-acre area of woodland. Play in our Quarry themed play area and climb the natural climbing frames and ropes, relax on the surrounding benches and watch your children have fun.. Walk one of our 3 trails, The Woodpecker trail, Woodland trail or the Ironstone trail. Railway museum: Discover the steam trains on Sundays, Watch the trains steam up on Bank holiday Mondays Jungle Parc high ropes Enjoy tree top adventures at the Jungle Parc Glide through the trees on rope bridges, zip lines and cargo nets. Dine Grab a bite to eat from the Quarryman's Rest Café Choose from our selection of homemade locally sourced food and ice-creams. Pay and display parking is £3 at all times. Park is open 24 hours a day all year.
