John Daye Paint Your Own Ceramics

When you visit our studio, the bulk of our items are the most popular. Both adults and kids tend to enjoy painting their own mugs, plates, vases, dishes, tiles and keepsakes. We usually have a varied selection of each of these items to ensure we cater for all tastes and keep a regular level of stock to ensure you're not disappointed.

Prices start as little as £5.00 each and are great value for money. All you pay for is what you paint so it’s up to you how much you spend. We can even order in special items if requested!

 

Yes it's true. At John Daye Ceramics we don't charge you any fees for studio time whatsoever - all you pay for is the price of the item you decide to paint and that's it. No hidden fees, no extras!

So what's the catch?
There isn't one. Compare our prices to most other studios and you'll see the difference. Most studios charge between £3.00 and £5.00 just for studio time alone. That's before you've even bought something to paint!

We believe that this way of charging is completely unfair to the customer, especially if one is painting a small item and another is painting a huge bisque, yet both pay £5.00 for studio time. That's simply crazy and a rip off!

Our philosophy is simple. Each item is priced according to the size, the amount of paint we could expect you to use and the amount of glaze and firing time required to finish the piece.
