The impressive remains of the medieval Wenlock Priory are also nearby. Slightly further afield is the picturesque Stokesay Castle, the finest and best-preserved medieval fortified manor house in England. An audio tour helps you to imagine Stokesay as a centre of medieval life, and the tearoom serves a delicious range of light savoury snacks, homemade cakes and cream teas.
