Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills, housed in what was once the largest woollen mill in the world in a beautiful riverside setting, will take you back in time to learn about the industrial history of Leeds, from textiles to printing, clothing to manufacturing, engineering and locomotives, which the city was famous for. Armley Mills contains exhibits from the 18th century through to the present day, with galleries and collections that tell the story of a number of industries that have shaped the city, from recreated Victorian cottages to the waterwheel.
