Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre is located within the boundaries of the first National Park in Scotland, Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park. The centre is just 30 minute drive from Glasgow, easily reached by car, bus, or train. So, if you are looking for a Bird of Prey encounter, why not come along and spend a few hours in the company of these remarkable creatures. For a unique visitor experience, come along to our centre. You will be given a guided tour by one of our knowledgeable volunteers or staff members. Learn about the individual birds, see them close up, stand two feet away from a Golden Eagle. Watch the birds training or flying in our aviary compound. Learn about our rescue facilities and success stories. No one leaves disappointed. There are over thirty Birds of Prey and Owls, representing twenty-six species including all 5 British Owls. Birds of all sizes, the Little Owl, Kestrels, Buzzards, Hawks, Falcons and Eagles, including "Orla", our Golden Eagle. Opening Times Season Times* SPRING/AUTUMN, Feb, Mar, Apr,Oct 10am-4:30pm WINTER**, Nov, Dec, Jan 10am-4pm SUMMER - May-Sept 10am-5:30pm *Last entry 30 minutes before closing. **Open 7 days a week except during the Winter when the centre may close to the public on weekdays and only open at weekends.
