Lullingstone Castle
Lullingstone Castle is an historic family mansion dating back to the time of Domesday.

Frequented by Henry VIII and Queen Anne, the Manor House and Garden, set within the beautiful Darent Valley close to Sevenoaks, are open to the public from the 1st of April to the end of September.

The UK’s first ever ‘World Garden of Plants’ containing plants from around the globe, planted in their respective countries of origin, is the vision of modern day plant hunter Tom Hart Dyke. Tom designed the garden during his nine month kidnap ordeal at the hands of Colombian Guerrillas in 2000. After his release from captivity, Tom returned home to Lullingstone Castle and built the garden.
