Lydford Gorge

Bring your outdoorsy munchkins to witness the deepest natural gorge in the South West, boasting a spectacular 30m waterfall - that's 90 feet! You can also enjoy the kids' playground and search for the woodland sculptures hidden in the undergrowth… but beware: some of them are fashioned as giant bugs, so be prepared for a little shrieking from the small ones to let you know they've found one!

It's also a terrific place for real nature spotting, what with life loving water, and dippers and wagtails can be seen swooping low over the river most of the year round, alongside hoards of other natural wildlife and seasonal floral displays.
