Nestled beneath the magni?cent Mabie Forest with views over the Solway Firth, Mabie Farm Park is original farm fun that’s delightful for all ages in all types of weather! Julia and Allan Shuttleworth opened Mabie Farm Park in the stunning Dumfries & Galloway country side of South West Scotland in May 2000 and have since welcomed over 700,000 visitors. Mabie Farm Park was started as a family enterprise by Allan and Julia, and along with their children, Zoe, Zelda and Darrin and their families. Julia, Allan and their family pride themselves on offering a fun day out for all the family in beautiful countryside, whatever the weather, and look forward to welcoming you to the park. Indoor Fun in the Playbarns Closed from 1 November 2010 Open weekends from 5 March 2011 Open daily from 10am to 5pm from 2 April 2011. Astroslide Our 4 lane Astroslide can be used by both adults and children, but may be closed during wet conditions. Boating Pond Take a leisurely paddle around our boating pond in one of our 2 or 4 seater paddle boats. Bouncy Castle and Jumping Pillow We have a variety of bouncy castles to suit all ages, and a special Jumping Pillow - safer than trampolines and more social as several people can jump together! Grass Slide We have 2 Astroturf sledging tracks, the shorter one is for the use of our younger visitors. Pedal Go Karts Make tracks with our popular pedal go karts. Ages 4 + Play Park Lots of your favourite play equipment including swings, sandpit, aerial runway, toddlers play area and Little Wendy Houses The Pond This area is set aside for wildlife, and gives visitors a chance to relax and watch our wildlife visitors. Groups can go pond dipping under supervision. Quad Bikes We have two sizes of Quad Bikes to run on our purpose-built track. Tuition is available for beginners. Crash Helmets provided. Ages 6 + The Mabie Farm ‘Choo Choo Express’ A train for small children runs through part of the park, even through big water puddles! Ball Park One of the fields at Mabie Farm Park has been set aside for ball games for groups or for that family fun kick around. Trampolines Our trampolines are suitable for adults and children, but please only one person at a time! Straw Barn Why not have fun messing about in the covered barn area with rope swings and straw bales. Truly original farm fun! Play Barn Ideal for play during wet weather! Under cover in the Play Barn we have * a Climbing Wall * an Inflatable slide * a Keep Fit area for tots with treadmill and exercise bike * Ride on Tractors * Trampolines * and a sitting/eating area for families Pets Corner Every afternoon, under the supervision of Mabie Farm Park staff, children have the opportunity to handle and feed some of our smaller fury friends, Rabbits, Rats, Mice and Guinea Pigs, and yes adults can have a go too!
