Margam Country Park is open all year round so you will always find something to make the visit worthwhile whatever the season.

Steeped in history, wildlife and natural beauty, there’s something for everyone at Margam Country Park.

The magnificent Margam Castle, Orangery with ornamental gardens and Deer Park, are set within 1000 acres of breathtaking countryside.

Our attractions include a narrow gauge railway, adventure playgrounds, Go Ape (high wire adventure), Fairytale Land (children’s area with a nursery rhyme theme) and rare breeds farm trail.

Children's Fairytale Village

Spring / Summer open daily 10.00- 4.30.

Autumn / Winter open daily 10.30 -3.30 (Houses open at weekends and school holidays)

Within the Orangery Gardens is the Fairytale Village.

    Designed for children 10 and under the village has miniature houses all with Fairytale themes!

Entry to the park is free, charges for parking apply. Prior to your visit, please check that the date of your visit does not coincide with a special event being held at the Park, for which separate charges apply.

Please note that on Bank Holidays there is a charge ranging from £4.00-£8.50 per adult and £3.00-£6.50 per child depending on the event.

    Open Daily from 10am to 4.30pm (Please note from 1st November to mid Jan-  Monday & Tuesdays open 1.00pm - 4.30pm.)
    Childrens Village open Daily 10 am- 3.30pm. the Houses open at weekends and during NPTCBC school holidays.
     Margam Park Train runs at weekends during September and is them Closed Autumn Winter Season
