If you are looking to visit somewhere truly breathtaking, why not try the Mawddach Valley? Our beautiful Coed Garth Gell reserve has one of the best views in Wales. You'll enjoy the wide variety of wildlife on the reserve. But you can also sit and admire the shifting sands of the Mawddach estuary on one hand, and the rugged beauty of Cadair Idris on the other. Arthog Bog is close by and is alive in the summer with wild flowers and insects. From here, you can amble along the Mawddach trail and see the estuary in all its splendour. The Mawddach Valley is a wonderful place for wildlife and spring and summer is the best time to see cheeky pied flycatchers and stunning wood warblers. Autumn and winter are special times for autumn leaves, wild scenery and raging rivers. Hope to see you soon. |
