Moses Gate Country Park

Moses Gate Country Park is a large Country Park and nature reserve with miles of scenic woodland and waterside walks, plus nature trails, and horse and cycle routes.

It is open all year, free to visit, and only 3 miles (5km) south of Bolton town centre, making it a great place to visit both as a purposeful day trip or as a reprieve for the kids who don't like shopping! With varying natural displays and delights depending upon the season it's also often worth taking a camera.
