Prepare to launch on a voyage of discovery at Nenthead Mines, learning more about the people, places, tools, lifestyle, and legacy of the mining industry that at one time completely dominated the landscape of the North Pennines! Mine Trip Open Days 2015 5 April, 3 May, 28 June, 19th July, 26 July, 30 August, 12 & 13 September, 25 October We open the site from 1030 to 1700 on Open Days.
