Be sure to bring the lot then: buckets and spades, frisbees and balls! The tour de force is the Minack Theatre, an open-air, Greek inspired amphitheatre built high into the rocks on the cliffs overlooking the bay. From May to September you can see plays and music being performed here against the stunning backdrop of Porthcurno Bay and the Logan Rock headland beyond. The underground Porthcurno Telegraph museum near the beach is well worth a visit. On the beach itself there are toilets with disabled facilities, a cafe and a lifeguard hut. Dogs are welcome on this beach except between 1 May and 30 September. Access to Porthcurno Bay is easy by road: there's a carpark 200 meters away. Please note that the address given is for the local tourist information centre, so please do plan your journey independently. Admission: No entry fee, local parking charges may apply. Opening Times: Lifeguard cover is May to September.
