Dance activities, parties, fitness and fun for all ages, React Dance - our aim is to bring the enjoyment of dance to people of all ages Please look at our available dance classes and upcoming events - get in touch if you want any more information. Whether you want your tiny tot to embrace music, your children to develop some theatrical skills or you want to get fit - we have something for everyone. We currently run dance classes in Jesmond and Gosforth for children and adults - whether its for keep fit or drama classes - we have something for your family Below is a list of our dance classes for children aged 2 and over. All ages and abilities are welcome. Dance
has excellent benefits for all children - its a great way to encourage
their 60 minutes of daily activity, introduces new skills, allows them
to interact with children their own age - and its fun. Movin' and Groovin' Pre-school
movement, music and expressions dance class. Using different props,
themes and music each week to bring out their creative side and
introduce the basics of dance and drama. Suitable for children aged 2 to 5 years - £3.50 per class Saturdays 2:30 - 3:00 pm Freelance Dance, Jesmond, Step to it Freestyle,
street, and jazz dance class for children. Each week we learn new steps
and new routines while encouraging the children with their own
creativity. Using the IDTA syllabus we will work towards exams and
regular performances. Suitable for children aged to 6 to 10 years - £5.00 per class Saturdays 3:00 - 4:00 pm Freelance Dance, Jesmond Urban Funk Freestyle,
street, and jazz dance class. Bringing together more complex steps from
the three disciplines the class will work towards IDTA syllabus exams
and regular performances Young people aged to 10 to 16 years - £5.00 per class Wednesdays 5:30 to 6:30 pm Freelance Dance, Jesmond Creative Moments Theatrical
drama and dance class - ballet, tap, theatre dance with drama and
singing workshops. A class that combines all the above skills together
to develop rounded performance skills. Regular performances and creative
sessions will be organised for student, along with the opportunity to
produce the React Dance Christmas Pantomime each Christmas Children aged 6 years plus - £7.50 per class Saturdays 4:00 - 5:30 pm Freelance Dance, Jesmond | |||||||||||||||||||||||
