Rope Race is set within Goyt Mill, a 100 year old cotton mill adjoining the Peak Forest Canal in Marple on the outskirts of Stockport and within easy reach of Manchester city centre. We opened our doors in 1993 as the best and market leaders in adventure activities, so whether you're a complete beginner or experienced climber we will have a climbing & bouldering wall suitable for you. Here at Rope Race we run climbing session for all ability, from our
regular Kids' club and school holiday activities, Birthday parties and
dedicated family climbing sessions where you can all climb together! And once the kids start outdistancing how high you mind going you can hit the ground again and be taught how to belay for them instead! We
also have our own indoor archery ranges (over 8 years) so come down to
Rope Race and enjoy the fun with our experienced child friendly
