Getting to the Castle There is only one ferry provider to Rothesay Castle, Caledonian MacBrayne (Calmac). Trains run from Glasgow Central Station to Wemyss Bay connecting with a Caledonian MacBrayne Ferry to Rothesay on the Isle of Bute. The Castle is a few minutes walk from the Ferry Terminal.
