The Royal Observatory, Greenwich is the home of Greenwich Mean Time and the Prime Meridian of the World, making it the official starting point for each new day and year. It is also home to London's only planetarium and features state-of-the-art HD projection technology, visualisations based on real scientific data and real astronomers., the Harrison timekeepers and the UK's largest refracting telescope. Entrance charges apply to Flamsteed House (including the Time galleries) and the Meridian Courtyard (ages 15 and under go free). A day ticket costs £7 (£5 concessions) or you can buy an annual pass for £10, allowing you to return as many times as you like within 12 months. Prices: Admission is FREE to the National Maritime Museum, the Queen's House and the Astronomy Centre at the Royal Observatory. Charges apply for Flamsteed House and the Meridian Courtyard.
