The Museum contains many
excellent farming and cider making
exhibits, as well as tools from
t ancillary crafts, such as blacksmithing, thatching and
coopering.
- Your visit begins with our DVD of the cider-making year here at Sheppy’s Cider.
- Leaving the DVD, the museum collection exhibits
depict the Autumn season, with
ploughs, harrows, seed drills
etc.
- You will progress through
the Museum to the summer season
where implements and machinery
for grass mowing, corn cutting
and binding can be seen
- Passing a variety of barn
equipment and machinery, you
will arrive at the dairy section
and farm kitchen
- And then on into the cider
making section housing the
old wooden press, apple mills
and presses, and a great deal
more
