The beach appears at low tide. Sheringham has a stony beach that
disappears at high tide, but at low tide, an expanse of sand and rock
pools is revealed. The beach is managed by North Norfolk District
Council. The beach has toilets, beach huts and a public shower. There is easy access to cafés and amusement arcades. Lifeguards are on duty from spring bank holiday weekend to the end of the school summer holidays in September. There's also a first aid point. Sheringham has free on-street parking and parking close to the beach. Toilets for people with disabilities are available. The ramps on to the beach may not always be usable because of changes to the level of the sand. There are no disabled parking spaces. |
