Somerset Cricket Museum
Somerset Cricket Museum can be found at the County Ground, and housed in a 500 year old Grade II listed building that is the only remaining building of the Augustinian Tauton Priory, which was siezed by King Henry VIII in 1539! The Museum is within walking distance of the main rail and bus stations, and can be found behind the Ondaatje Pavillion.
The displays and exhibits primarily cover the history of the cricket club, including Test Match players such as Marcus Trescothick and Ian Botham! There is also a section devoted to the England women’s cricket team, because the County Ground is their headquarters.
