The South East's friendliest steam railway!
Heritage steam and diesel trains run for 5½ miles through the picturesque Kent
and Sussex Weald
between
the mainline junction at Eridge and the spa
town of Royal Tunbridge Wells
, stopping off in between at
Groombridge and High Rocks.
Take a journey through time
along this classic English Branch Line. We're open every weekend until 2nd November, plus selected weekdays (mainly during the school holidays - see timetable).
Tickets may be purchased online, or are available on the day of travel from our stations. We recommend you book in advance where possible, particularly on Special Events days, as these can be extremely popular and often completely sell out in advance!
On Green/Yellow/Purple operating days (see timetable), whole-line tickets allow unlimited travel and breaks of journey on the day of issue.
We are proud to be wheelchair friendly, and the majority of our trains are equipped with ramps to permit ease of access for visitors with reduced mobility. Buggies, prams, bicycles and dogs are all welcome, and carried free of charge! Sample fares for 2015:
Eridge to Tunbridge Wells and return: Adult £11 Senior (60 and over) £10 Child (2-15 years) £5.50 Family (2A+2C) £28.50
