Hundreds of families entertained at Spinningfields first Family Film Club
Hundreds of families descended upon Spinningfields for the first Family Film Club of the summer on Saturday, in association with Disney on Ice Dare to Dream.
With a special guest appearance from none other than Mickey Mouse, face painting, balloon modelling and glitter tattooing, as well as the screening of Tangled, children were kept entertained for hours, with activity lasting from 10am-1pm.
The Family Film Club continues for the next fortnight, with Disney classic Cinderella being shown this Saturday, August 24th, and The Princess & The Frog being shown on Saturday, August 31st. Both films are free to attend and start at 11am.
Families can watch the films on a picnic blanket or kick-back on some deckchairs and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. There are a number of eateries to enjoy food and drink from, including The Long Bar, IN BLOOM, The Alchemist, Southern 11, Neighbourhood, Artisan, The Oast House, Giraffe, Nando’s, Gourmet Burger Kitchen, Carluccio’s, Wagamama and Hey Little Cupcake.
The screen is located in the heart of Manchester city centre on The Lawns, Spinningfields.
Family Film Club in association with Disney on Ice - Dare To Dream – films commence at 11am.
