Mary’s, there are actually 2 adventure play parks and a skate park! You can find the excellent Pirate Ship play park on the edge of the Garrison field which is also great for ball games ad kite flying. At the furthest end of Porthcressa Beach, there is another great little playground, then next to the school field in a place called “Nowhere”, children can enjoy the ramps and rails of the St. Mary’s skate park, so long as they're suitably padded up! Plus if you've got older types and want to be more adventurous about it you can also catch one of the regular boat trips or RIB safaris, or even go snorkelling with seals! Other island activity facilities include tennis courts, cycling routes, a swimming pool and boat hire. No, not boat hire for in the swimming pool, it's for in the sea… Scilly! Admission: No admission to play parks or skate park facilities. Enjoy! Opening Times: Gated play areas available in accordance with local council opening times, otherwise accessible year round daylight hours the same as the park and waterside.
