Take trip down Memory Lane, seeing bygone vehicles from the beginning of the century up to modern day classics, most of which originate from the largest private collection in the country plus more recent aquisitions making a total of over 350 exhibits. If you would like to find out just what classic vehicles of yesteryear we have in our collection before you visit then use our online search facilty and discover if we have your own personal favourites. The majority of exhibits are conveniently displayed under cover and compactly arranged to eliminate a lot of walking for the elderly.A brief resume is attached to each vehicle and staff are usually around for a chat. Some exhibits are for sale, so if you want to own or renovate a classic please ask. There are 5 halls to view, each with their own individual and interesting collections. The replica of Captain Cook's Endeavour is structually complete and fitting out is in progress, guided tourstake place at weekends and during the school holidays. Over the past 25 years i have derived great pleasure in collecting and renovating many of the exhibits on show, and it seemed a shame not to share that pleasure with others so the idea of a museum was born. It is my sincere hope that your visit will be informative as well as a trip down Memory Lane, and i hope that you will revisit the museum in the not too distant future. Information
