Nature of EnquiryEmployment I am writing to you to ask if you would have any job vacancies available from around July 15th until around September 24th 2010 but the dates are flexible despite it being for a short period of time. I would be interested in any work from 3 full days per week to 5 full days per week if you were to take me on. I am currently a first year student at Chester University study Primary Education with QTS and have a CRB check with the university. The reason I am enquiring for a job in Street, is because I am contemplating moving to Street for the summer to live with my boyfriend whom has recently just moved there himself in order to work within a full time role at Clarks Head Office. With this in mind I would have to find a job which i could work during the week in order to be able to afford to live and raise money that i can live off at university next year. I I have had lots of experience in working with children as I have undertaken many placements in schools alongside my degree but also before i started university. I also currently have a part time job based up in York which is where i live for Clarks shoe shop, where i am a trained shoe fitter and top sales assistant for the children's department. I could get a transfer to the outlet village, but i thought that working in a nursery would be much more rewarding and enjoyable, as well as being more beneficial to me for my future career, as it would give me a greater insight to children and how they learn. Also with all the GCSE and A level students breaking up for the summer too, I didn't think there would be many hours available in retail. I would like to think that if i was given the opportunity I could play a small part in shaping young minds; in helping children to develop their skills, interests and personalities and to contribute towards developing young people who are well mannered and happy members of society. In the short time i have been able to gain experience in different learning environments, i have found it really interesting to see the various approaches to teaching and caring for children, and the ways in which different children are offered support in their learning. I like to think I have the qualities needed to work with children. I see myself as a motivated, confident, friendly, outgoing, and organised person. I always try my best in everything i do, and i fell I have the persistence and patience to work through any obstacle or problem which i am faced with in the hope that i can learn from them in the future.
